Choosing the right cup size for your menu
From 4 oz espresso to 20 oz iced drinks — a practical guide for café owners.

Cup size is a pricing decision as much as a packaging one. Most cafés need three hot sizes and two cold sizes.
4 oz suits espresso and tasting portions. 8 oz is the classic cappuccino. 12 oz is the everyday latte, and 16 oz is the large. For cold drinks, 12 and 16 oz cover most menus, with 20 oz for iced coffee and smoothies.
Keep your lid range small: choose sizes that share lid diameters to simplify stock.
